Coral Springs date nights do not have to mean the same steakhouse. The khana kh'zana dining room was set for conversation: banquettes, low light, dishes meant to be passed. It is on W Sample Road, with parking at the door.

What to order for two

One tandoor plate to share — paneer tikka or chicken tikka. One gravy — butter chicken if you want mild, rogan josh if you want lamb and more heat. Garlic naan. Dal if you want a third bowl that is vegetarian and still the point of the meal. Mango lassi or kheer to finish. Gulab jamun if you like something warm and sweet.

How to sit

Reserve for Friday and Saturday. Walk-ins work earlier in the week and at lunch. Tell us it is a date when you book — not so we perform, so we give you a table that is not next to a twelve-top. Open daily 11:30am to 11:30pm.
